The 14th North Eifel Business Run took place on September 6th under the motto ‘Running for Fun and a Good Cause’.
Once again, this year, the schwartz group was represented by a highly motivated team of runners. We are especially proud of our sporting successes: our men’s team came in first, and also produced the second-fastest runner of the whole event. Following the run, they toasted their success at the fun and pleasant after-run-party.
The ‘International Conference on Advanced High Strength Steel and Press Hardening’ took place in August in Hefei in the People’s Republic of China.
On Friday, October 27 the schwartz Gigafactory, the new plant of our Chinese subsidiary schwartz HTS in Zhangpu Town Kunshan, PR China was inaugurated with a festive ceremony.
Alexander Wilden, owner and CEO of the schwartz group, was personally on site to open the ceremony.
Numerous government representatives, business partners and employees were present to celebrate the opening together.
On Friday, September 1st, this year’s North Eifel Business Run took place under the motto “Run, have fun, do good!”.
A schwartz group team also took part in the regional charity run as part of a good tradition. The subsequent after-run party toasted the sporting successes.
The International Conference on Advanced High Strength Steel and Press Hardening took place from July 18th to 20th in Wuhan, P.R. China.
schwartz HTS took this opportunity to exchange ideas with other companies of this industry sector and presented a talk about the schwartz Group’s current developments in the field of press-hardening.
